Tip Toeing in My Jordans Meme: Rumpelstiltskin

The Tip Toeing in My Jordans meme is an AI Rumpelstiltskin dancing to a 2014 Riff Raff song. Is it real, what's the song, how to be the dancer this Halloween.

The Tip Toeing in My Jordans meme is a tiny, wild-haired Rumpelstiltskin tiptoe-dancing in an old barn while a rapper repeats "tip toe, in my Jordans" over and over. It looks like a lost scene from an '80s fantasy film. It isn't. The clip was made with AI in 2026, and the song is a Riff Raff track from 2014.

The short answer

The Tip Toeing in My Jordans meme is an AI-generated clip of Rumpelstiltskin dancing, first shared on Instagram in August 2026 and paired in late September with Riff Raff's 2014 song "Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz". By October it had turned into a Halloween costume trend. On AI Rapping you can star as the dancer from one photo.

Is the Rumpelstiltskin video real?

No. The dancer is AI-generated. According to meme.com's write-up, the clip was made by the Instagram creators @stroinaya, @neuroferma and @anna_glinskaya and posted in August 2026. Part of why it spread is that it fooled people: the grainy look, the barn and the costume made some viewers think it was a real scene from an old Russian fairy-tale film.

Rumpelstiltskin himself is the imp from the Brothers Grimm story, the one who spins straw into gold and can only be beaten by guessing his name. Nothing in the clip comes from that story except the look.

What song is it?

The song is "Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz" by the rapper Riff Raff, track 7 on his album Neon Icon, which came out in June 2014. "Jawwdinz" is Riff Raff's spelling of Jordans, the sneakers. For twelve years it was a deep cut. Putting it under a dancing fairy-tale imp is what made it a hit.

The AI clip and the song were first put together in late September 2026, and that pairing is the version that took off on TikTok. Most people searching for it type "tip toeing in my Jordans" or "tip toe meme" rather than the real title.

How it became a Halloween costume

In October the meme jumped off the screen. People started building the costume at home: a curly wig, a sequin tailcoat, a bow tie, cropped pants and shoes with curled toes, then filming themselves doing the tiptoe dance in a garage to the same song. With Halloween at the end of the month, it became one of the easiest costumes of the year to explain, because everyone had seen the clip.

We're not sure yet whether it will outlast Halloween. A costume trend tends to belong to one October, but the song has already come back once after twelve years, so we wouldn't bet against it.

Can I star in my own Tip Toeing in My Jordans video?

Yes. The Tip Toeing In My Jordans AI template on AI Rapping takes one full-body photo and dresses you in the costume, doing the tiptoe dance in the garage. You get a vertical video for 10 credits. It works in the browser; there's no app to install.

The template page: add your photo, tick the photo consent box, then press Make my AI rap video.

Two things to know before you make it:

  • The clip has no sound. You add Riff Raff's song inside TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post, where it's licensed for posts. We don't put the original song in the file.
  • You don't keep your own clothes. The template dresses you in the costume instead. You still look like you, which is the point.

For the photo, stand facing the camera with your whole body in the frame, in good light, with no one else in the picture. A full-body shot matters here because the dance is all feet.

Credit packs start at $9.99 for 10 credits and don't expire. If a video fails, its credits come back automatically. The other packs are on the pricing page.

Want a Halloween rap instead of the dance?

This template doesn't take your own lyrics yet; that comes once its lip sync passes our tests. If what you really want is a rap with somebody's name in it, the Halloween rap song page writes one from a sentence, like "my little brother is going as Rumpelstiltskin and won't stop tiptoeing". You get lyrics and a 30-second song, and your first one is free when you sign up. The same works for any occasion on the AI rap generator.

Questions people ask

Is the Rumpelstiltskin tip toe dance from a real movie? No. It's an AI clip made in 2026. Its old-film look is why some people thought it was a real scene.

Who sings "tip toe in my Jordans"? Riff Raff. The song is "Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz" from his 2014 album Neon Icon.

Is it a good Halloween costume? It's an easy one to recognise in October 2026. You can try the look on yourself with the AI video before building the costume.

Can I use a photo of a friend? Yes, if they agreed. You confirm you have the right to use the photo before the video is made.

AI Rapping is not affiliated with Riff Raff or his label. The template recreates the scene; it does not use the original clip, and we do not clone real artists' voices. If you'd rather be in a different trend, every scene we have is on the AI rap video templates page, and the Burning Bridges AI trend guide covers another one that took off this month.
